Nasrul-Lahi-il-Fatih Society(NASFAT) President, Alhaji Ayodeji Abdulwahid AbdulRauf, has extended warm Eid-al- Fitr greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and worldwide, calling for harmony and unity.
In a statement issued and signed on Tuesday, the President reflected on Ramadan’s significance, emphasising the values of unity, service, and spiritual growth.
AbdulRauf stressed the importance of Muslims’ continued philanthropy and community service, highlighting their past contributions and urging sustained commitment to making a positive impact.
He also reminded them of the six days of Shawwal fasting to perfect their deen.
The President further urged all Muslim faithfuls to embrace peace amidst global tensions, advising them to steer clear of viewing international conflicts through a religious lens, specifically referencing the USA-Israel and Iran crisis.
“It’s purely a power supremacy struggle,” the statement partly reads.
The organisation wishes Muslims a blessed and joyous Eid celebration.
