The National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Deputy Comptroller of Customs, DC Abdullahi Aliyu Maiwada, has achieved a significant academic milestone with the successful completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the Faculty of Arts, University of Abuja.

The NCS Spokesperson had defended his PhD thesis titled “Assessment of Internal Communication and Employee Relations Management in the Nigeria Customs Service” at the Faculty of Arts, University of Abuja, on Wednesday 16 April 2025, when he was the Assistant Comptroller of Customs (AC).
Now, as a Deputy Comptroller of Customs (DC), he has successfully completed the programme, marking a major academic milestone in his career and a significant step toward strengthening professional expertise within the Nigeria Customs Service, especially among younger generations.
