Recruitment: Customs Picks Abuja for Physical Screening, Documentation of Shortlisted Candidates
The Nigeria Customs Service(NCS) has said that the physical screening and documentation for all successful candidates in its ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment exercise will take place at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja.
According to a press statement issued and signed by the Service’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, and made available to journalists on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, all shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the exercise with the original and photocopies of their relevant documents.
The documents include the National Identification Number (NIN); original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age; and educational certificates, including O’Level, ND, HND, Degree or other applicable qualifications.
Others are Certificate of State of Origin; two recent passport photographs; a completed Guarantor’s Form; and NYSC Certificate, where applicable.
The Service further advised candidates to wear a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes for the exercise.

It also enjoined candidates to report only on the date allocated to their respective states and cadres, stressing that attendance at the physical screening and documentation exercise is compulsory.
“Failure to appear as scheduled may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process,” the Service warned.
Also, upon successful completion of the physical screening and documentation exercise, the Agency said shortlisted candidates would receive further instructions from the Service regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The Nigeria Customs Service, under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, and his management team, assured all candidates and the general public of a transparent, fair and merit-based recruitment process.
The Service also urged candidates to rely solely on official NCS communication channels for authentic information regarding the exercise.
