Oyo/Osun Area Command Enhances Personnel Welfare With Medical Outreach

In line with its commitment to enhancing the welfare and operational efficiency of its personnel, the Oyo/Osun Area Command, under the leadership of the Acting Customs Area Controller, Deputy Comptroller Wale Moses Adewole, has conducted a medical outreach for officers and men across its patrol teams and outstations.
The initiative, carried out through the Command’s Medical Unit, aimed at promoting the health and wellbeing of personnel, thus strengthening their capacity to effectively discharge their duties within their respective areas of responsibility.
Led by Assistant Comptroller Jamila Ukpo, the team visited key outstations and patrol bases where comprehensive medical checkups and basic healthcare services were provided to officers and men.

According to a statement signed by the Command’s spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Customs, ASC Akintola Abiodun Abdulmalik, the Medical check-ups ran from Monday, 20th to Friday 24th of April 2026.
The outreach underscores the Command’s recognition of the critical role of sound health in achieving optimal performance and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
