Kaduna Customs Generates N14.6bn in Q4 2025

Kaduna Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has announced a remarkable revenue figure of fourteen billion, six hundred and eighty-six million, two hundred and fifty-six thousand, two hundred and seventy-naira, forty-nine kobo (N14,686,256,270.49) for the last quarter of 2025.
The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Sa’ad Hassan made this known on Tuesday, 13 January 2026, at a press briefing held in Kabala Doki, Kaduna State.
He said the figure has a difference of N3,823,403,842.78, which depicts 35% revenue increase, when compared to ten billion, eight hundred and sixty-two million, eight hundred and fifty-two thousand, four hundred and twenty-seven naira, seventy-one kobo, (N10,862,852,427.71) generated in the fourth quarter of 2024.
In a statement signed by Deputy Superintendent of Customs, Dauda Adamu, Comptroller Hassan described the feat as evidence of diligence, professionalism and commitment of the command’s officers and men, who have contributed immensely to ensure the target is met and exceeded.
He said the success also reflect the unwavering commitment of the command to the national economic growth.

A breakdown of the figure shows that in October, five billion, one hundred and sixty-four million, four hundred and sixty-one thousand, three hundred and ninety-one naira, ninety kobo (N5,164,461,391.90) was generated, while in November, the command posted three billion, eight hundred and thirty-four million, seven hundred and ninety-two thousand, seven hundred and forty-seven naira, seventy kobo (N3,834,792,747.70). The figure peaked in December, as five billion, six hundred and eighty-seven million, two thousand, one hundred and thirty-naira, eighty-seven kobo (N5,687,002,130.89) was recorded.
The Controller attributed the success to improved officers’ motivation and intelligence-driven operations by the monitoring compliance team, assuring that the command, under his watch, would continue to implement necessary measures to improve toll collections, with adequate support from other Service’s units.
“We shall maintain success through synergy and continued dialogue, by engaging and sensitising the local and trader communities while discharging its statutory responsibilities of enforcing compliance with government fiscal policies,” he said.
The Area Controller commended the dedication of his officers and men, and the cooperation of other units, especially the Customs Intelligence Unit, the Valuation Unit and the Customs Police Unit, for their prompt actions.
“It has really contributed to the success of the command,” he said.
Comptroller Hassan stressed that the Command’s achievements aligns with the policy thrust of the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi (MFR), describing his leadership as instrumental to the success attained.
“His principle of consolidation, collaboration and innovation has been crucial in heightening our potential and also drives these spectacular results,” he said.
The Area Controller further appreciated the command’s stakeholders, soliciting for continued cooperation in timely payment of all duties.
“We appreciate the traders who are doing well and urge them to continue with their efforts. We also assure them that the Command remains committed to fulfilling its mandate as outlined in the Nigerian Customs Service Act (NCS, Act 2023),” he added.
