Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) PLC has announced a remarkable 74.8% increase in revenue for the year 2024, marking a significant financial turnaround under the leadership of its Managing Director/CEO, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin.
In a press statement issued by Head, Corporate Communications of SAHCO, Adetola Vanessa Uansohia (Mrs), on Tuesday, the company’s impressive financial performance is attributed to its commitment to operational excellence, enhanced service delivery, and solidified partnerships with key industry players.
SAHCO also secured several strategic airline contracts and renewals, including a five-year ground handling contract with British Airways and a five-year agreement with South African Airways.
The company’s growth continued with new domestic handling agreements with Umza Aviation, LTT Cargo, and ASTRA Aviation, solidifying its dominance in Nigeria’s aviation industry.
SAHCO’s commitment to safety and efficiency was recognized with multiple awards from British Airways, including the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Awards for Safety & Punctuality.
It also achieved an impressive 37-minutes turnaround for an Ethiopian Airlines cargo flight, setting a new standard in operational efficiency.

Under Mrs. Aboderin’s leadership, SAHCO has prioritized safety and environmental sustainability, successfully renewing its IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) and RA3 certifications.
