A retired Customs Officer, James Babatunde Ajiboye has been enthroned as the Elemure of Emure Kingdom, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He adopted ‘Otutubiosun 1’ Ajigbotulu Elemure of Emure Kingdom.
The Coordinating Officer in Charge of the Federal Operations Unit, (FOU) Zone A, Ondo/Ekiti, Assistant Comptroller of Customs Olabode Faleyimu, shared this information with Media Hotline Platform via Whatsapp chat on 13 July 2025.

Oba Ajiboye’s enthronement marks another milestone for retired Senior Customs Officers who are traditional rulers at various kingdoms across the country.
Notable example is the retired Deputy Comptroller of Customs, Imra Ayodeji Akintola, now His Royal Majesty, Alua of Erin – Oke Kingdom within Ijesha Land of Osun State.
Before his retirement, Oba Ajiboye served in various Customs formations including FOU ‘A’, PTML, Ibadan, Seme, Apapa, Maiduguri.
